Window Replacement in Elmhurst, ILElmhurst Window Replacement Company

Few things are more pleasant than opening your windows on a breezy, warm spring day. Yet when you try to lift your window, it won’t budge. You check that it’s unlocked, and yet, as much as you pull and tug, nothing happens.

Did you know stuck windows may be a sign it’s time to consider a window replacement for your Elmhurst home? It’s true! If you have a window made from aluminum, you probably need an upgrade. The temperature changes cause the metal to swell up, thus leaving your windows unopenable. Even if you don’t have aluminum windows, your windows can still stop opening. For instance, old painted wooden windows can get sticky. Their locking mechanisms also fail.

Royalty Windows – Your One Stop Solution

For those and many other reasons, if you’re considering a window replacement, call on us at Royalty Windows. We have more than two decades of experience serving residents across Chicagoland. Our team carries windows of all materials, such as aluminum or wood, but with upgraded designs that won’t get stuck. These windows come from some of the best names in the industry, including Andersen and Marvin.

You might also want to consider vinyl windows for their simplicity, appeal, and energy efficiency. Speaking of energy efficiency, all the windows we install here at Royalty Windows have high Energy Star ratings. You can rest assured then that not only will you have beautiful new replacement windows, but they will retain heat better.

About ElmhurstElmhurst College

Located in DuPage County (and partly Cook County), Elmhurst, Illinois is a part of Chicago’s western suburbs. According to 2017 data, about 46,662 people live here. The city has a rich history, having first been the home of Potawatomi Native Americans. Then, in the mid-1800s, immigrants from European-America settled in. The city had a different name then, Cottage Hill, before switching to Elmhurst. Per household, city residents make about $104,854 a year according to 2016 data. The per capita income is $44,601.

A good portion of the population includes children, as those 18 and younger comprise 25.6 percent of the city’s residents. There’s a small group of residents in the 18 to 24 age group, just seven percent. Up to 28.5 percent of those in the 24 to 44 camp live here, and 23 percent in the 45 to 64 age group. Seniors 65 and older add 16 percent to the city’s population.

The city has long since hosted a Memorial Day parade, beginning the tradition in 1918 and never missing a year since. Also, if you’re a snack fan with a sweet tooth, then you’ll love it here. The beloved chocolate chip cookies from the Famous Amos brand are distributed in the neighborhood. The Keebler Company was once headquartered in the city as well, but they moved in 2001 after an acquisition.
